The Fiorino coin, 1.5 cm across, is ringed by a hand-twisted torchon border that adds texture and catches extra light. The rope frame lifts the coin off the finger and gives the ring real presence.

History at the centre and craft around the edge, it works as the statement ring of a stack, in 18k or 9k Italian gold.
